GUITARS N’ CARS HOSTED BY U.S.VETS-HOUSTON returns to THE AIRSHOW IN 2022
Support veterans, bid on autographed guitars, and see some AWESOME classic cars – all while watching the airshow!
While you may already know that there will be hours of high-flying entertainment at this year’s Wings Over Houston Airshow, you may not know that there will be a HUGE ground display as well. Yes, we will have a large amount of static airplanes for you to admire, along with many vendors. But did you know that this year will also feature up to 100 classic cars and an incredible display of World Famous Fuller’s Guitars? And did you also know that the organization putting the event on, hosts it solely to help the homeless veteran community? That company’s name is U.S.VETS-Houston, and we are excited to partner with them for their 13th annual Guitars N’ Cars event at Ellington Airport October 29-30, 2022.
Last year was a smash hit! Thanks to YOU, our Insiders, we were able to assist the cause with donations made through ticket sales. Every time a ticket is purchased, you have the ability to help support U.S.VETS. In 2021 we nearly reached $20,000, but fell just a little short. Let’s see if we can break that record in 2022!
U.S.VETS – Houston was established in 1992 with the mission to successfully transition military veterans and their families through the provision of housing, counseling, career development and comprehensive support. U.S.VETS – Houston provides wrap around services for veterans experiencing homelessness including a drop-in center where veterans can get a meal, wash their clothes, use a computer, get free cell phone service, get case management and begin their road to end homelessness.
