This year, the Wings Over Houston Airshow is proud to host the US NAVY F/A-18 SUPER Hornet Demo. Unfortunately, there is something super cool that isn’t included in the Super Hornet Demo. What is it? Aircraft carrier takeoffs (shots) and landings (traps)!
At this time, we’re unable to fill up Ellington Airport with water and drag in an aircraft carrier from the Gulf. We asked and we’re told, “No!” Granted with all the rain we receive, filling Ellington up wouldn’t be that difficult. Alas, here’s the next best thing … an inside look at takeoffs and landings
