GUITARS N’ CARS HOSTED BY U.S.VETS HOUSTON will be AT THE AIRSHOW IN 2021 – an event within our event!

While you may already know that there will be hours of high-flying entertainment at this year’s Wings Over Houston Airshow, you may not know that there will be a HUGE ground display as well. Yes, we will have a large amount of static airplanes for you to admire, along with many vendors. But did you know that this year will also feature up to 100 classic cars and an incredible display of World Famous Fuller’s Guitars? And did you also know that the organization putting the event on, hosts it solely to help the homeless veteran community? That company’s name is U.S.Vets – Houston, and we are excited to partner with them for their annual Guitars N’ Cars event at Ellington Airport October 9-10, 2021.
U.S.VETS – Houston was established in 1992 with the mission to successfully transition military veterans and their families through the provision of housing, counseling, career development and comprehensive support. U.S.VETS – Houston provides wrap around services for veterans experiencing homelessness including a drop-in center where veterans can get a meal, wash their clothes, use a computer, get free cell phone service, get case management and begin their road to end homelessness.
This year marks the 12th anniversary of Guitars N’ Cars car show. Established in 2009 by Gordon Clunn of Clunn Acousticals, this show has raised over $682,000 for veterans services. Guitars N’ Cars highlights Houston’s love of classic cars, live music and fun, while supporting the ladies and men who have served our country. The entire Guitars N’ Cars event will be FREE for you with a purchase of an Airshow ticket!
