We’re very excited to announce some exciting airshow ticket improvements for 2017. Thanks in large part to your survey feedback, we have two new ticket types and a major upgrade to General Admission tickets!
USAF Thunderbirds & Some of the Best Pilots in the World!
The 2017 Wings Over Houston Airshow is proud to host the United States Air Force Thunderbirds and some of the best military and civilian aviators in the world on October 21st & 22nd at Ellington Airport, Houston, Texas!
Our goal is to provide you the best air show experience possible at a range of price points. Ticket types include everything from an affordable day of aviation thrills for the whole family to an ultra-premium air show experience. There’s something for everyone!

As an Insider, you get up to 50% OFF* and first dibs on VIP tickets (not available to the public). Deep discount pricing expires Monday, June 19th at 12:00 PM noon Central Time. After that, prices will go up. *A nominal ticket service fees may apply.

WHERE do Discount VIP Tickets Go On Sale?
Discount VIP tickets can be purchased securely online, using your Insider Only Link. You will receive your unique purchase link via email on Thursday, June 15th at 12:00 PM (Noon) Central Time. You will then be able to buy and print your ticket(s) from the comfort of your home or office. All discount ticket purchases are online ONLY using most major credit cards. You can buy tickets from a desktop, tablet, or mobile phone.
2016 Prime View Customers (ONLY) & Your Seats
2016 Prime view customers, you will receive a special link at launch to renew your seats. As always, Prime View customers will have first dibs on the seats they purchased the previous year. Thanks for your support!
If You Have ANY Ticket Purchase Issues, After Launch
If you have any issues with your ticket purchase, after 12:00 PM (Noon) on Thursday, June 15th, please call our ticket service provider ExtremeTix at 888-695-0888 between 8 AM – 9 PM Central Standard. We need to emphasize that ExtremeTix will only be able to help you AFTER tickets launch at noon on Thursday, June 15th. ExtremeTix customer service representatives are great at helping our airshow customers.

These new tickets are in addition to launch discounted Eagle Squadron, Prime View, Photo Pit, Sunrise Tour, etc. Because of our the NEW General Admission ticket, we have discontinued Family Pack and Child tickets. Read on for the new ticket details …
New General Admission Ticket
General Admission is undergoing the biggest change to date. To create a very affordable family airshow experience, we’ve changed our general admission ticket policy. One general admission ticket now includes admission for one adult and up to six children for a very affordable price.
Family Chalet Ticket
The new Family Chalet is like Eagle Squadron, but specifically designed for families. The Family Chalet area is built to be kid friendly. Our focus is on making sure you and your children have a spectacular time at the air show. Thus, no alcohol service in the family chalet area. The Family Chalet area will include the food your whole family can enjoy.
Business Class Ticket
On the adult side of the spectrum, we’re introducing the brand-new Business Class ticket. This adult only (21 & Older) ticket is an ultra-premium VIP airshow experience.
Amenities include top shelf open bar, table service, performer meet and greet, and behind the scene air show tours. Business Class will also include a delicious menu of exquisitely catered food served throughout the day. To maintain the best experience possible in Business Class, we’re limiting the number of tickets to 300 tickets per day.
Photo IDs will be checked upon arrival at Business Class.
Very Limited Discount Ticket Quantities & Time-frame
Once ticket purchases exceed a certain quantity, or after the ticket launch ends on Monday, June 19th, prices will increase. Again, ticket discounts are limited by time and quantity. So please don’t miss your chance to SAVE BIG!
Here are the deep discount tickets limits:
- GA Tickets – 3000 Tickets
- Eagle Squadron Tickets – 200 Tickets
- Business Class Tickets – 75 Tickets
After reaching the launch purchase limit, tickets will go up to the next price level.
Please note – No Ticket Refunds
Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds on airshow tickets. Rest assured, though, that the airshow is a rain-or-shine event. You should know that all performers have high, low and flat shows that can safely accommodate for different types of weather. There are also going to be amazing display aircraft on the ground. Aircraft (especially military) are subject to operational requirements. If anything changes, we’ll let you know.[/text_output][/vc_column][/vc_row]
