Here’s a video detailing the skill and teamwork it takes to launch an EA-18G Growler off of a U.S. Navy aircraft carrier.
The Wings Over Houston Airshow has been selected to host the U.S. Navy Blue Angels this October 26th and 27th at Ellington Airport. To get you ready for that (and to have a little fun), we have a great video for you! This video is of an EA-18G Growler going through the routine it takes to launch from an aircraft carrier.

For our aviation nuts, yes, we know that this video is of an EA-18G Growler and not the F/A-18 Super Hornet that the U.S. Navy Blue Angels fly. There is not much difference between the two aircraft (same body, different capabilities and roles). So what you are seeing in the video is very close (if not exactly the same) as what the men and women flying for you in October have been trained to do.
