Need eclipse glasses? The answer is, YES you do!
Per the scientists at NASA – Except during the brief total phase of a total solar eclipse, when the Moon completely blocks the Sun’s bright face, it is not safe to look directly at the Sun without specialized eye protection for solar viewing.
That’s where we come in – FREE eclipse glasses!
If you need glasses, we have some left over from last year’s annular eclipse, which took place the Saturday of the Airshow. All you need to do, is go to the CAF Houston Wing on Saturday, April 6th and pick up as many as you need. We have plenty and will have them at their “Hangar Hangout” which is free of charge and open to the public from 10 AM to 3 PM on Saturday, April 6th.
The CAF Houston Wing will have planes on display as well as their museum open. Go enjoy the history and pick up a free pair of glasses for the eclipse. CAF Houston Wing is located at West Houston Airport – 18000 Groschke Rd., Hangar B-5 Houston, TX 77084. Tell them the Airshow sent you and enjoy! The images below are what the glasses will look like.
